O’Neill’s has a flagstone dance floor with DJ booth in the centre where some wide columns holding up the ceiling break the area up a bit. Seating is found to the left and rear and the bar counter runs up the right-hand wall. Televisions are found throughout and as my early evening visit was between World Cup games these were muted whilst some dance music played. Standard, premium and craft keg was available and the two hand pumps were unused. This place isn’t aimed at me and as such I’ll not be returning.

A large circuit bar in the bowels of a former cinema which feels more like a basement club. Sports TV screens abound and the centre of the place is given over to a DJ booth. The large craft ales sign outside proved to refer to nothing more exciting than a couple each from Brewdog and Camden with nothing else of note - even the Chieftain was off. Frankly a waste of time, unless you are out clubbing.

Quite a big place for O'Neills and not as Irishy as normal. No real ale, of course, but pleasant enough during the day.
