Oggwyn Great left this review about The Stormy Petrel

Large single room pub , unusually named for an inland pub probally due to the Tern Hill barracks which is an Army Air Corps flying school just across the road .
It was very popular with squadies , who were banned from most pubs in nearby Market Drayton on a regular basis and Bikers , it was to be honest a bit of an unfriendly hole .
Been closed for a few years now , future uncertain.
