Busy Hungry Horse pub / restaurant, with the dining area at the far end of the large 'J'-shaped layout fully reserved on a Tuesday evening (seemingly for the weekly quiz). Plenty of customers in the various seating areas around the central bar counter too, which was great to see. Anonymous semi-modern furniture and decor, but with a pool table, dartboard and a number of TV screens showing sport so there is obviously plenty here for most people. On the downside, just Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen (which I got for £2.80 as the IPA ran out during the pour) and Abbot available from the four handpumps, but - all else considered, especially for this usually dismal chain - I think they could be forgiven for that.

Soup Dragon left this review about Bramford Arms

This is a detached, corner, Hungry Horse chain pub and eatery, which has a patio area. It is a 60s pub, built during the housing expansion. It is a cream painted brick two-storey house, with a large low-level extension. The interior has two clear areas, a bar with a pool table and a family dining area. Both, strangely, had grabbing machines, but the dining area has several kid's 'lucky egg' kind of machines. Both areas have several TVs - showing the Villa actually winning - some even within the booth seating in the family area. The walls were cream, red, light green, stripey papered and in wood panel - a real dog's dinner, and had old photos on them. There was no music. The service was fine and the food was decent enough. The place was rammed. Beer, no real ale on, just the usual kegs with an OK Guinness. Not really a lot to recommend it, simply went for somewhere to eat.
