Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Dusty Miller

This canal-side Robinson's pub may be newly built, but they have done a reasonable job with the exterior brickwork so it doesn't look out of place. The various seating and dining areas form an overall 'L' shape at first-floor level (when viewed from the car park, although the main door is at road level. Slightly anonymous in terms of furniture and decor, but not in an off-putting way. Also has a garden terrace plus a beer garden reached by its own bridge. Four handpumps on the counter, offering the 'house' Lift Bridge, Dizzy Blonde Trooper and Old Rosie cider.

The young barman was friendly and efficient in this new, but well thought out, Robinsons canalside pub.
You'll certainly be asked if you're eating here. The menu, and food that we saw, looks standard brought in and not hugely enticing.
The beer was all Robinsons: Dizzy Blonde, Unicorn and Elbow(Let's Build a Rocket Boys). A half of the latter didn't encourage a longer stay.
Although the building has been well done and fits in with the historic canalside setting and the location is great, I just can't see any reason that I'd wish to return.

A modern build but in an old style to fit in with the historic canalside building nearby, you have to complement the architect and the local planning officials. The interior is open plan and has that gastro styling, classy but formulaic.Old furniture, artifacts ,rustic touches which you have seen a hundred times before. However to the right of the entrance, the picture windows give a great view of boat traffic negotiating the electric lift bridge, holding up motorists by the dozen.
Sadly this is a Robinson's tied house,so the three choices from the six handpumps didn't inspire, leading to a very brief stay. The food looks very much foodservice quality which is inconsistent with what could be a great location. The upstairs dining room could well impress your bird.
At Wrenbury station a young couple asked us the way to the Dusty Miller.Rather than give them directions it would have been much kinder to suggest they turn around and follow us on the hike to The Bhurtpore Inn.
