A good sized corner pub, which was quite trendy and up to date. The clientele was of mixed age and the atmosphere was upbeat. Six handpumps with three in use serving London Pride, HSB and Tribute.

A modernised corner pub that leans quite heavily toward the gastro side of things, three handpumps with two beers on, in fact exactly the same as Quinno found a year and a half ago,Deuchars IPA and Phoenix Ale which is re-badged Caledonian Edinburgh Castle 80/-.
I could easily give this one a miss should I be back in Romsey.

Appears to have recently taken its moniker after a large and ambitious re-fit. It’s a J-shaped open-plan interior with distinct areas, quite decently done (bluey battleship grey colours, exposed brick walls, lovely old radiators) and has plenty of quirky things to look at like the giant mounted moose head, Victorian postbox and piano with a skeleton (wearing a sax) playing it; apparently the piano does actually get played once a week by a human on cocktail night. Three pumps at the bar, two on from (of all people) Deuchars - IPA (decent nick) and a house ale (presumed rebadge), served up by a posse of friendly female staff. Also worth noting that the ale was cheap for Romsey. I had a surprisingly decent 15 minutes in here.
