A decent pub. 5 cask ales and a plethora of tellies. A large rather attractive building that looks welcoming and is.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Horse
Quite an attractive building, with a few interesting features on the façade (including the old-style pub sign above the main corner door). Refurbished with a light colour scheme inside the 'L'-shaped main bar and side room, with some semi-circular booths and small high tables. Various TV screens. Anonymous chain(?) menu. Rear patio beer garden, plus a few tables out on the pavement. Surprisingly good choice of beer from five of eight handpumps, including Wychwood Piledriver (£2.50).

The White Horse is a fairly large pub that is almost opposite the bus station,so very handy for me when waiting for a bus.
This pub used to ba an Ansells tied house with a very nice drink of Burton Bitter on the bar,the pub was knocked into one large room several years ago.
The pub has a recent makeover, but i did'nt notice this on my recent mid Saturday evening visit.
Once inside there is one largish room, the serving bar is on the right side, there is bench seating to the rear left and a DJ rig to the front left, this was in use on my visit, there was one real ale on the bar, this was Hobgoblin which was a decent enough drink while i waited for my bus.
The pub was very livley with quite a few older couples dancing,i car'nt remeber what music it was as this was the last pub of the day.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
