Tucked away behind the old St Martins church on Coney St and next to the City Screen it’s an outlet of that so called vodka bar, as usual not much vodka to be seen. The L shaped counter however has a profusion of solos of Eurofizz and many spirits on the rear shelves. I did have a fairly nasty Brooklyn Lager as I thought it would be interesting but, ah well. Lots of vertical drinking space with booths to rear and side, another counter lurks at the far right. Very industrial on the low ceilings and iron girders otherwise modern styling. It’s best feature is certainly the riverside terrace.

Despite a rather insignificant entrance, this place is quite huge inside. It is a lively nightspot sort of place in a former warehouse so the main floor has low ceilings with various industrial pillars and beams but all glitzed up with something of a club feel in the evening .The main area extends round a central bar, while a side room has its own long bar. A narrow riverside balcony offers great views in the summer. Upstairs there are more rooms with another couple of bars, available for private functions. No beers worth looking for though; the fairly average premium keg range includes Neck Oil and some Eurofizz but no cask, of course. It is not actually as bad as I thought it might be but I still won't be returning.

Nice location overlooking the river with a terrace area. Standard draught and food served.
