Old Boots left this review about The Angel
Grandish exterior leading to a large square dining room smelling of fish and chips, it’s another pensioner dining room with beer, in this case Doombar and a poor Theakstons Best Bitter. Decorated in cream tongue and groove with a tartan carpet and magnolia walls with heart warming or puke making slogans depending on your level of cynicism. There's a second similar bar behind and a beer garden at the back.

Located in the town centre shopping precinct. 2 roomed pub served by a central bar. Beers from bass, boddingtons and theakston.

This pub is on the main shopping street in Beverley.
there is a large room at the front of the pub and probably a smaller one at the back there were two real ales on the bar these were Bass which was not bad the other beer was Theakston Best.
This pub is nothing special but handy for a quick drink while shopping.
