Home of the Son of Sid brewery, this pub is well worth seeking out. A proper village local with an old fashioned feel and a friendly welcome. I tried the English (a session beer) 3.7%, The New One (IPA named after the racehorse of the same name) 5.6% and Mild 3%. (There was also a golden bitter that I didn't try.) All the beers were well made and well served - the mild involved lifting a trap in the floor behind the bar and descending to the cellar, which made me a little reluctant to ask for a second drink, but in the end I couldn't resist.
