The single most disgustingly dirty hole! The Management have no clue other than serve behind the bar. The staff are clueless to who's in charge. They have no direction, and everybody walks around with a really sad face. They said the reason was they were over worked and under paid, plus the manager was not interested in their well-being. The minute we sat down, a second later, my 8yo niece said "this is so dirty" and she was referring to the general state of the place. I jumped up and went to speak to the manager, he told me they had been rushed off there feet, yet there was only 8/10 people finishing off their meals, btw, I could hear the complains from them as they left. Anyway, the food was unfit for human consumption....The burger had been maulded by the chef, and his greasy finger prints were the first thing I could make out on the burger as it arrived. The steak was terrible...Cheap, nasty cut which was swimming in cheap vegatable oil. The whole dining experience was a joke, and it cost me £50 plus! They've offered me to go back, Ive said, I will but any chance I could have the cubical in the gents toilet as I'm pretty sure it's cleaner than their restaurant! STAY AWAY!

As a matter of interest, the Quiz team from the winnie Lodge appeared on Eggheads on April 8th, 2008. They didn't win but I believe this creates a lot of interest. George
