A pleasant and tidy pub with a village feel. The main area has good, traditional furnishings round the central bar, with a games room behind at one side and a dining area off to the other. At the rear is a courtyard garden which looked a bit of a sun trap. The whole place has a well-run feel, while just about everyone in it greeted me like a local at some point, despite never having been anywhere near before! the draught beers were in good condition, being Betty Stogs, Tribute and Doom Bar at time of visit. Food not sampled but smelt good. Definitely worth finding your way here.
