Andy Clark left this review about Miners Arms

It's so nice to walk into a tradtional village pub with dart board, pool table and no one but two wood burning stoves. There is a delightful conservatory resturant that serves excellent food from traditional cumberland sausage egg and chips to confit du canard (I tried the Fillet Steak at £12 cooked to perfection pink inside with just a hint of blood). The beer was great value too £2 for a pint of 'Miners Arms'. It was how I remembered pubs use to be - I shall certainly be making my way back soon.
