Looks pretty dilapidated from the outside and to be honest the inside isn't too much to write home about either, a simple knocked-through room which has suffered from too many half-arsed refurbs. Locals tick-boxes in pool, darts, a big screen (oddly showing Scottish fitba) on mute. Big on the rugby, with various framed shirts and upcoming matches advertised. Three pumps with two ales on, a rugby beer from Hanlons and Exeter Tomahawk which, after managing to spill almost the entire contents of my first Tomahawk, I re-ordered only to discover that it was bang average (NBSS 2); diddled myself. Best left to the locals.

Basic, one-bar boozer towards the back of town; fags on the doorstep. None the worse for being a basic hostelry. Lovely pint of Thatcher's Dry.
