Entering The Old Boot, I noticed plenty of low beams and a dark interior, offset by a bright sunny garden at the South Street entrance. On the bar, some half-a-dozen pumps offered Harvey's Best & Old, Summer Lightning and others. A standard draught selection was enlivened by Oakham APA. Not that it was easy to get the info, what with the bar hangers rather getting in the way. Service was efficient though and the Old was fine.
There's also a wide food offering at very reasonable prices, and the portions are huge, though quality was no more than average.
There are a surprisingly high number of pubs in Seaford, and this one's worth a look-in.

As I approached the Old Boot Inn the first thing that I noticed was that the old arched yard to the right and the upstairs of the pub has been turned over to a hair and beauty salon, but thankfully the actual pub is easily large enough to lose this area. I entered from the high street entrance and had the long walk up to the bar at the rear that had me passing lots of seating areas with various steps up to each. To the left of the bar there is more seating and some doors lead to a large patio area with seating and this entrance is step less. I noted four hand pumps on the bar that were drawing Harveys Best (x2), Old Ale and Tribute alongside a standard and premium draught selection. The Guinness was well served by the young barmaid, but I still had to wait a while as she had been away from the bar, probably delivering some food to tables which was priced at around £8 for a main meal. I didn’t spot any TVs, but there was some inoffensive music playing softly in the background.
This place is OK for a sedate pint or two, but I couldn’t stay for an extended period.
