A glorious old alleyway pub, heavily timbered with some magnificent windows and fireplaces. It manages to feel more historic than touristy and is well worth a visit. Ales on were Theakstons Best and Old Peculier, Robinsons Trooper and Ossett Silver King, plus Rosies Pig cider.

The Olde White Harte is another classic pub in Hull's Old Town. It is accessed through an alleyway, which leads into a small courtyard with two access doors, one to the front bar and one to the rear bar.
Both rooms are small, but full of character. On our visit, there were a significant number of away football fans inside.
The ale range is a little disappointing. Theakston Best & Old Peculier are the regular ales. Guests were Dark Star Hophead & Ossett Yorkshire Blonde. In addition, there was a real cider - Weston's Rosie's Pig Rhubarb.

Similar to the George in historic interest the difference here being the beer isn't as good
