Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Springhead
Substantial estate pub, only one side of which is still in regular use as a bar. A function room also available in another part, according to the signage, and there are signs indicating a former lounge and restaurant. Limited seating in the plain square bar, supplemented by wooden benches on a much larger rear patio if the weather is clement. Children's play area. Normally has at least one real ale on from the brace of handpulls, but unfortunately the landlady was awaiting delivery of some Marston's Burton Bitter when I stopped by. Opted for the keg Mansfield Dark (£2.65) instead.
