Situated in a delightful Cotswold village, virtually undiscovered by tourists, this pub has an almost idyllic location and looks promising from the outside. It's a real shame that the inside has been done out in a modern style and now caters more to diners than drinkers.
The 3 rooms are all nicely decorated and designed to appeal to wealthy local denizens. Tribute is the regular ale here, with Butty Bach & Wainwright being the guest beers. The young barmaid was friendly and chatty, but after looking so promising from the outside, it delivered very little on the inside.
