Alan Winfield left this review about The Brigadier

The Brigadier is a fairly modern pub that is on an estate on the western edge of Ashton on Mersey.
Once inside there were two rooms a functional bar and a smartish lounge i had a drink in the lounge and this was a decent comfortable room.
This pub is a Joseph Holts tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
This is a locals pub but i was happy enough having a drink in here.
