This used to be a good pub when it was The Unicorn. Since then it has been through several 'upgrades' to turn it into a cafe bar and a restaurant and attract the affluent people of Hale Barns. Even 'Liz McDonald' failed to make it work after all her experience in the 'Rovers'!! A final campaign by the locals failed to stop Hydes selling it to a nearby security firm searching for larger premises.
