Blue Scrumpy left this review about Bramble Hill Hotel

Approached by a narrow, potholed roadway from the edge of the village of Bramshaw deep in the New Forest, this is a faded, but grand old building.

We had seen that accommodation is still being sold. But notices on the door stated that it was closed. Undeterred, I ventured in and rung the hotel reception's buzzer. A gentleman appeared from a room at the end of the corridor and clarified that the pub would not be re-opening for trade this year.

I'll try again one day....
