A beaten-up pub on its last legs. A mess inside with almost nothing positive beyond the friendly landlady and less-ferocious-than-expected locals. Battered dart board, daytime TV vs loud music. Toilets that would disgrace an east Asian jail. Almost no drinks choice, ended up with a Wrongbow in a glass with unidentified red splodge. To be fair, the sign on entering says ‘what you see is what you get - an experience you'll never forget’ and indeed that’s true. So bad it feels like it must be a practical joke. Was waiting for Beadle to jump out.
