Currently open, but for how long it's difficult to say - this pub opens and shuts regularly, as its ownership changes hands. Although it has a reputation for trouble, I saw none when I visited this week. The main bar is a large open plan affair, decor in reasonable condition, with a pool table, gaming machine and over-loud music. The staff were friendly and the clientele ranged from the normal to the two unsober (but inoffensive) gentlemen hiding in a corner. There is a mix of furniture with no real theme. No food was being served, and there was no real ale. OK for a swift half in passing, but not a venue for the ale drinker o those who want a quiet life.
