Hall & Woodhouse roadside pub, traditional bar doors on entering labelled ‘This’ and ‘That’ but both lead to the same opened-out bar area. Check carpet, wonky low ceiling and beams, brick and wood bar front, quasi-rustic feel, not bad. As is the way these days, a formal dining area is off-limits to the regular punter. Best selling point was the nice patio suntrap out the front. Three H&W ales on; Tanglefoot, Sussex Best (poor, suspect an over-worked cask breather) and First Call, alongside Westons Rosies cider. Sun-trap patio out the front. Ot’s OK but the beer let it down. 5.5

The New Inn is a fairly large two bar pub with a hotel attached.Its an old country styled pub with plenty of oak beams in evidence,there seems to be no rel distinction between the bars apart from the names, one is called This Bar, the other, That Bar. Its Hall & Woodhouse owned so expect Badger beers, I didn't spot any guest beers, three available on my visit, these were , First Gold,First Call and Tanglefoot. I'm not a fan of Badger beers and as such the pub did little for me, more suited to hotel guests and passing diners.

Large place with a hotel attached. Perfectly adequate although a tad expensive.
Too many kids in there for my liking but apart from that it's ok.
