A mock-Tudor pub up a hill from the nearby White Hart, this had a staple-shaped interior with a red baize pool table to the right and a dartboard, blocked by a high table and stools to the left. A large screen over a fireplace screened a boxing match to no-one in particular in the bare-boarded bar area (left and middle - the rest was carpeted) and keeping with the mix in this strange village, this was more locally although at least there were women in here. Four pumps: two unused, but at last McMullens AK and IPA on the other two (AK £3.60 for a pint and good). One to complete the set, but not one to brave the precipitous walk from the Hart for.
