Real Ale Ray left this review about The Eagle and Child

The pub was quiet on our early evening visit. There were two handpumps dispensing beer from JW Lees. The interior of the pub was very brightly lit and the walls were painted with a feature bright red wall here and there. I got the impression that this was the pub for the younger local crowd to hang out in.
