A pleasant converted warehouse pub on the canal. The sheltered towpath seating can be very warm on sunny days. 5 cask ales on which were pretty good. I liked it.

A converted warehouse on the canal. Lots of bare brick and wood panelling, it's a good looking pub. The beer garden is the canal towpath, which was a total suntrap during my visit. Inside there are some comfy seats and lots of tables and chairs for dining. There's a quiz machine and a dartboard and TV's showing sport. They advertise karaoke on Friday and a disco on Saturday. The menu looks fairly unusual and tapas are also available. 2 banks of 3 handpumps doubled up with Moorhouse's Pride Of Pendle & Black Cat plus Copper Dragon Golden Pippin available. The Copper Dragon was a good pint. It's a decent enough pub although the ale selection is pretty pedestrian.

Got off the train at BURNLEY Manchester road not been in Burnley for 15 years and its not changed much the most ugly people in the country live here so dont be shocked you can see so many bog beasts at once. The first call was the Inn On The Wharf just like it was years ago after the conversion from the old warehouses had a good pint of Pendle witch the pubs still in good shape but a little tired but would call again
