Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wateringbury
As a Chef & Brewer establishment next to a Premier Inn, this is about as about as food-led as one would expect. However, it does do some decent real ale, with Belhaven Howell at the Moon and the local(ish) Hopdaemon Incubus (£3.65) and the regular Greene King IPA available from three of the four handpumps on this occasion. Otherwise, it has standard semi-modern furniture with some traditional decorative features in a variety of seating / dining areas, but it does benefit from a secluded rear beer garden. One nice touch is the exterior sign noting that the weather vane on the roof came from the nearby former Phoenix Brewery.
