A two roomed pub with a central bar serving both rooms. The pub has cream coloured floor tiles throughout, which seems practical, as you get a lot walkers calling in after a visit to the opposite Deeside marshes, the pub also hosts an open fire in each room. The left hand side room had purple coloured leatherette bench seating along the walls, whereas the right hand side lounge had a section of original deep red coloured buttoned bench seating. Food is served in here and consists of a varied selection of sandwiches made to order and a daily special such as a curry with rice for £5. The beer line up on our visit was Titanic Last Porter Call, TT Landlord, Holt Brewery Hooley Gold and Peerless Triple Blonde. I went for the Peerless, which was in excellent condition. There is bench seating out the front, along with a good sized beer garden, down the left hand side of the pub.

A cracking little pub that's well worth seeking out. Right on the marsh front with lovely views over the Dee. This can be difficult to find as the road leading to it looks like a dead end but if you turn left you will see the pub. Its an old unspoilt 2 roomed pub and there are 5 real ales for you to natter on about. Sit out front in the summer for a great view over the Dee Estuary to Wales.
