Old Boots left this review about The Quaker Wood Inn

An estate pub on the edge of the pleasant Acomb Woods, probably built in the 1960s along with nearby housing. It’s a multi space place with raised areas to the front. Roughly an U shaped counter with T-bars and solos on the front face and round the corner are three pulls and a low T-bar. The pulls had Abbott and Yardbird, average quality. Constant music, screens and machines as well. Some walls are treated with pallet wood, others are exposed brick or wallpapered, usual decor of old photos, maps and stuff. There’s a loyalty card scheme, after five visits you get a free pint, although the standard Greene King Ts & Cs on the back say five pints. There’s a curry house and a Tesco Express opposite and a handy bus stop.

Graham Coombs left this review about The Quaker Wood Inn

A reasonably respectable modern pub tucked away in the housing estates, in the 'Flaming Grill' chain. The interior is divided up into a number of different areas with some parts aimed at family dining and others dominated by sports or gaming machines. Someone shows some enthusiasm for beers though, with a sign promoting the real ales. which were a couple from GK along with Tetleys Cask, and in good condition (Cask Marque listing). Could be much worse.
