Located alongside the A43 the building itself is quite attractive. That's where the compliments end. Inside in the bar area is quite cosy and had the log burner on. Only one ale on offer, which was Greene King IPA at an eyewatering (£4.35). This is a Chef and Brewer pub so mainly the emphasis is on food, but to only have Greene King IPA on offer (a watery one at that) its really not worth coming here unless you just want food and a lager.

Apparently rebuilt from some earlier licensed premise, but now a fairly tedious Chef and Brewer establishment also acting as restaurant for the adjacent Premier Inn. Entry is through an unappealing back door, which takes you into the usual conglomeration of rustic farmhouse-themed rooms, with various exposed beams and odd bric a brac. The small central bar is fairly cosy, with a couple of side areas usable by drinkers, while the rest is all laid up for dining. Draught beers from Greene King were IPA, Abbot and Old Speckled Hen. The IPA was off and the OSH was a little warm and just about drinkable. Handy for Silverstone and as an eating stop on the A43, but otherwise don't bother. Note access mainly eastbound - you can get across from the westbound carriageway but cannot get back directly.

A Chef & Brewer establishment located in a dip on the A43 before Silverstone and heavily food-oriented as you'd imagine. A bit of a warren internally with a preponderance of wood and just the two ales on - GK IPA and Robinson's Trooper (H&H Rocking Rudolph was reversed, so no great loss), along with a handful of craft beers in bottles in the fridge. A bottle of Meantime Yakima Red came in at £4.45. There's a Premier Inn next door, which along with this place, probably gets packed in July when the British GP's on.
