We too have been to the oyster catcher several times the food is good the staff stink or to be fair the pompus jumped up managers attitude stinks he ponces about like an idiot barking orders ,we ate here 10th march as i said we have eaten here often at the carvery i asked for what i always have a little of all meat offered there was a new chef who said only 2 meats were allowed no problem but asked was it a new rule he said i don't think you have ever been offered more no no no i don't think so then called mr pompus over and told him, he then told me like a schoolgirl i was wrong will we be going again NO NO NO learn some manners customer is always right be polite!!!!

My husband and I went in Yesterday been the Bank Holiday Monday.
We thought we would go and see a film but if we set off earlier and have some tea in the Oyster Catcher. Huh .... never again .
We walked in and as with others the staff were trying to keep the few customers that were in there in one place , I reckon this is to make it easier for them. I refused a table close to the bar and the door but was lead further down still near the front of the bar tho'.
Several staff walked past and then 1 finally took our drinks order.
There was an A board outside stating they had a fab new Summer Menu ! I looked down the menu and ordered Salmon steak .... they had none , then looked at the pan fried chicken they had none of that either. I
