The Whittington and Cat is a large old looking pub that seems to have survived the redevelopment of this area.
I was expecting a half decent pub but once inside this was a really dire pub.
There were still two rooms and both were empty and both had tables laid out for diners but no one was in here except me and about five bar staff who looked like waiters.
There were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was Boddingtons rubbish so i had a Guinness.
This is by far the worst pub i have been in in Hull.
