The Station is at the western end of the village of Patrington and was the only place in the village dispensing real ale. The ale in question was Doom Bar, which I decided to avoid.

The bar is decorated in a modern style, but we were the only customers inside. In addition, there was another smaller room and a garden which was being taken up by a wedding party. One other customer was seated outside the pub at the front. There is plenty of parking available.

Another pub with not much going for it.

Will Larter left this review about The Station Hotel

A former railway pub that has successfully reinvented itself in the absence of an extant railway and associated passengers. Boards beside the road advertise a "real ale bar", but it's more of a family roadside diner, or at least it was at the time of our visit in mid-afternoon during the school holidays. To be fair there are five hand pumps with an interesting beer selection, mostly brewed locally, and this pub is well worth a visit if in the area.

Jack Nicholson left this review about The Station Hotel

This free house is on the western edge of the village and used to service passengers on the Hull – Withernsea railway, which closed in the 1960s. The pub has been refurbished and extended to include a restaurant with a good selection of food. It has three ‘real ales’, Black Sheep Best Bitter and two guest ales and is listed in the CAMRA ‘Good Beer Guide 2011’.
