Part of the eating in branch of green king pubs is the Magna Carta opposite the Loudham Cricket ground i was visiting with the away team. This is a very generic chain pub with the usual drab decor and furnishings empty of any character or charm. Inside are many different rooms that are all open out to make one continuous space as many pubs now are.

Beer wise there was the drab Greene King IPA and Abbot but also guests with Titanic iceberg pale ale and Nottingham brewery legend. The legend was in a nice condition and reasonable at £3.09 a pint.

This is far too chain like for my taste and not the best pub experience, It was made bearable sat outside in their large beer garden that was quite nice. If in the area the Old ship in a 20 second walk away is a better option for a proper pub an nice real ale. On a side not the staff really got up me in this pub with them seeming very pretentious for such a basic generic pub with no special qualities, I specifically asked for a Newcastle brown ale (It was a blisteringly hot day and i dont really like Lager) on the condition that it is ice cold (as Newcastle brown should be served) only to be given a luke warm bottle only just placed in the fridge moments before and then to be told that it was cold enough!! I will be the judge of that and no it was not!! At least a reasonable ale awaits if u can stomach the generic nature.

Another one of those chain outlets and not really for me. Nevertheless the pub was smartly furnished and the staff were friendly. GK IPA, Abbott and Olde Trip served. The pub was busy with people dining on the two for one specials.
