Charming country pub - popular with ramblers, dog owners and lunch time diners.
Tiny inside but with a large front patio and a massive wigwam for outside drinking/eating.
Seems to be one of the smallest selections of drinks I've encountered - maybe 4 keg and just the one cask. Brakspear Gravity gets a pasting on Untappd (2.93 average is one of the lowest I've noticed) but this in good condition and a decent session bitter. With no other choice, the turnover was no doubt helping freshness.
Beautiful walking country and must needed refreshment as the only pub on my 12.5 mile ramble.

Another food-oriented Brakspear country pub with a central bar and eating areas located left, right and centre as well as an annex to the right specifically for the dry trade. Ale was limited to Brakspear Bitter.
