This is a busy village gastropub massively on the food side. Entering from the rear, the bar is centrally-positioned, with a open kitchen facing the bar to the left, and there's all kinds of bustling around of staff collecting orders, crashes, bangs, order shouting as well as the drone of the extraction fans. Add an unimaginative ale selection of Sharp's Doom Bar and Black Sheep Bitter (a third pump was unclipped) means this is an avoidable beer stop-off.
