Running a bit of an odd system in the covid world. August 21 and the pub part of the building is closed - the front door closed.
Wander around the back and they have setup a temporary bar in a marquee. The beer is gravity fed, with a barrel perched on top of a cradle. Only BB was on during my visit. The SBA had run out. I cannot imagine how this would have been. The beer is pretty lifeless normally.
The service was being managed by one person front of house - but she was doing a cracking job although very busy. Don't believe the reviews on trip advisor. The food was quickly served and good quality. Drink prices are listed - so not sure why so many are moaning about being ripped off. They are certainly in line with what you would expect to pay elsewhere.

The Fox Inn is Donningtons most southerly tied house and it looks like a really nice pub.
Once inside there was one room with the bar facing as you entered there was a TV and darts board to the right and the left side was carpeted.
There was an outside seating area with part of it covered and this was next to the river Windrush and it looked like a really nice area to have a drink in.
This pub is a Donnington tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Donnington SBA and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Donnington BB.
This was a proper drinkers pub and i really liked it here.

Stopped at this 17th century inn on the way to Cheltenham. A very handsome looking pub, on tap Donnington brewery and Cotswold.
