Thatched roof Chef & Brewer in a very aged building with a fair chunk of heritage knocking about. Usual chain fittings, spacious car park and pleasant rear courtyard beer garden. Four pumps, three on; Pedigree, Wainwright and a decent drop of Adnams Ghost Ship. Another pub that features in Three Men in a Boat (don’t bother reading it, it’s really dull). 6.5
