Geezers pub, with an old red-and-gold Courage cockerel sign outside. Tidy if somewhat no-frills interior which is quite large. Pub carpet, pool, darts, large function room, TV sports, nasty off-yellow colours and sloppy paintwork (was Mr Magoo in charge of the paintbrush?). Noted that a basic range of fresh toasties were available for a couple of quid, not seen that before and fair play. Wi-Fi. Two ales; Doom Bar and a ropey Youngs Special. To quote Andy Townsend, “Not for me, Clive”.
