A pretty typical Ember Inn with the usual corporate design and furnishings. Largely given over to food trade but drinkers are welcome, especially in the pubby bit by the bar. Like others in the group it is a cut above the family dining end of the market and maintains a good food offering, while being a reliable source of well-kept ales but more in the traditional vein than strange craft brews. On this visit it had TEA, London Pride, Hophead, Tribute, and the house brew from St Austell. Cask discount Mondays and Thursdays.
