Typical Slug & Lettuce with the usual array of lagers. My choice would have been Hophouse but it was off. Settled for an Estrella and moved on. Not my kind of place.

Yates is now the Slug & Lettuce - refurbished in a light semi-modern style which could easily be mistaken for the Quinto Lounge next door. However - although looking better - the real ale has gone, leaving just the Meantime London Pale Ale (which turned out to cost an extortionate £5.20) as the least bland of a dull keg selection.

Not a review, just info. The Litten Tree in Sutton Coldfield is now Yates's.
