Nice old coaching inn, very large garden. Accommodation available. Sells real ale and has food all day. Friendly staff. Parking available. Sorry the photo is a bit dark.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crown Inn

Part traditional, part modern inn on the Roman road known as Ermin Street. Good value meals, reasonably-priced rooms and the local Arkell's ales.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Crown Inn

The Crown is on an old roman road called ermine street and the pub is next to a busy roundabout.
The pub is painted in a cream colour and one part of the pub is set at a different angle to the rest of the pub.
Once inside the pub was quite smart and had a cosy feel to it with cottage type seating and decor there was also a large restaurant in a seperate room.
This pub is an Arkells tied house and there were three real ales on here i had a drink of Arkells 3B and this was a decent drink the other beers were Arkells 2B and a Seasonal beer,i thought this was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.
