Doug Chaney left this review about The Railway Inn

Very disappointing that we weren't made to feel very welcome and it's a 'cash only' bar. That strikes me as a pub that doesn't have a great management or a bad credit rating, as they don't have the means to get a card machine. But when we were leaving and we heard 'get the f**k out' it wasn't the best end to an evening. Having grown up in the area and been away for 20 years it's very disappointing that a Yorkshire pub is so far behind the hospitality that's now common in most popular pubs across the country. This place need to take a long hard look at itself and get with the times... Make your guests welcome, as we'd have put a lot of money behind your bar...
