Will Larter left this review about No. 2 (Under The Clock)
For a station pub this one has the atmosphere of a proper local. Whether this was due to actual locals or week end tourists who discovered it on arrival and have never left, I couldn't possibly say. It was pretty busy at the time of my visit (post-football on Saturday) and I had to write my brief notes while standing beside a waist-high partition upon which I had placed my beer (without mishap, I'm happy to report). The sole member of staff was dealing super-efficiently with the demands of a swelling crowd. I spotted seven hand pumps on the bar: Sharps Doom Bar and Atlantic, Thwaites Wainwright, Rudgate Ruby Mild, Cottage Mosquito Best Bitter, Caledonian Deuchars IPA and Hancocks HB. Not a list to challenge anyone's taste buds, but it's good to see a variety of beer styles from all over the country.

Quite a small, L-shaped pub just inside the station entrance, with six ales on hand pull including Doombar, M&B Mild, Hancocks HB and Worthington Pale Ale as regulars, and two guests which on my visit were Castle Rock Harvest Pale and Tom Woods Imp Stout and were in very good condition. Normally I find station pubs, including those which specialise in ales, to be pretty cold and impersonal places, but this one pleasantly surprised me with its friendly and relaxing feel. They even have a quiz night. I’d certainly come here again.

Small one roomed pub on Cleethorpes station.
Welcoming atmosphere,3-4 well kept real ales changing every week.
Twice winner of the local camra pub of the year. Every railway station should have a pub like this.
