One of two or three bars at Cleethorpes station, this one was actually open when we arrived around 3pm and luckily still open when we came by again after 6pm. It is accessed from the station platforms, the station itself only accessible from North Promenade in the evening.
It's a small L-shaped space inside with additional outdoor and undercover seating in the station concourse. Gents toilets are quite interesting with a urinal and toilet in very close proximity. I'm not sure it is designed for more than one occupant at a time!
Locals and the barmaid seemed a friendly bunch but the cask ale range was a little pedestrian. Rudgate Ruby Mild is the regular beer. Although I think Hancock's HB is also usually on. It wasn't on this occasion. Guests for our visit were St Austell Proper Job, Sharp's Sea Fury & Ossett White Rat.
We didn't get to try the No.1 bar, as that closes midweek but overall this is not a bad place for a local station pub.

An excellent use of a station buffet, now a pleasant bar with a good range of beers. The plain furnishings still feel much like a 1970s station buffet, although there is a penned off 'outdoor' area on the concourse also. Ales on included Rudgate Ruby Mild, Sharp's Atlantic and Sea Fury, and Ossett White Rat. Note that it opens from 08.30 until late! Very handy waiting for a train, and no complaints on beer quality.

Seemingly not related to No.1. Small and fairly basic, it’s not quite got the homely character of its rival but is still a good boozer in its own right and has a micropubby feel, albeit with comfier seating than the norm. An impressive collection of local soaks in attendance on my Friday night visit. GBG listed, with seven pumps; my Rudgate Ruby Mild was a little long in the tooth (NBSS 2) and keg appeared to be the predominate shifter alongside swearing, which seemed somewhat at odds with the image the smart barman was projecting. EDIT: a pal of mine was in a few days later and said the same beer I had was in much better nick. 6.5
