This is a large gastro pub run by Ribble Valley Inns, which is part-owned by the chef Nigel Haworth. The pub is mainly frequented by diners. The interior is modern and bright with photos around the pub of their food local suppliers. There was a long oak bar with marble top counter on the right as you enter, which looked most impressive. There were 4 H/pumps, so I went for the Bowland Sky Dancer. We called in after lunch service was over, so this gave a more relaxed experience as this pub does get extremely busy.

I had a cheese and onion sandwich just after it was opened it was very good, but I have not been back. But there again the car park is full every night and most weekends so it would seem that they are doing the right thing
