If you are naughty in life you will apparently go to Hell, but if you are REALLY NAUGHTY you will then fall through a trapdoor in Hell and end up here. Its all ozone layer destroying hairspray, cologne and anti-perspirant. Hen party, stag party, Cattle meeting, Wanker conference and Harpie gathering is all rolled into one. The usual knob behind the bar is dramatically mixing some weedkiller with ice and spilling most of it. Top Man, River Island, Top Shop, Boots Chemist and Ramon's Benidorm-o-tan and Beauty parlour to the fore. Anyway, rant over. Its crap. No real ale. But you knew that anyway. Nightmare.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Slug & Lettuce
On the opposite corner to the William Gladstone, this Slug and Little Gem is split into two levels. If you like bling from highly polished keg fonts on the bar, then this is the place for you. As for real ale, this is a desert.
