Old Boots left this review about The Plimsoll Line (JD Wetherspoon)
Standard sort of long thin spoons, dark in the middle, bright at the roadside end and near the rear beer garden. Usual 10 pulls but mostly doubled up with only one different on each set, and not of outstanding quality, well it is Redcar after all. Not a lot to add really. No menus etc on tables in the front/middle area, the rear area down a few steps has lower tables with menus etc.

The Plimsoll Line is an old school shop conversion consisting of a single rectangular carpeted room. The fixtures and fittings were fairly typical. It had a mix of drinkers and people eating on my February Tuesday afternoon visit.
The beer choice from the ten hand pumps wasn't that great with the JDW Trio Of Doom & Acorn Drop Kick doubled up, Lancaster Black and Sonnet 43 Seraphim. I went for the Lancaster Black (£2.15) which was in good nick. Despite the small choice this would seem to be one of the better Spoons in the area.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plimsoll Line (JD Wetherspoon)
Usual sort of 'spoons shop conversion, but the large windows and relatively light decor make it less gloomy than many. Patio beer garden to rear. Reasonable choice from 9 of 10 handpumps, including York Chocolate Stout (£2.20).
