Soup Dragon left this review about Spring Cottage

A large detached pub, with fake wood and white plaster exterior

The inside is open plan, around a central bar area. The decor sees one side in a light and dark green, with green blinds and a life size clown statue and a few ornaments, the other in a light (creamish? it was dark) colour. There is a pool table, dart board and snooker table. There were two large screens with kid music channels on, blasting out Dizzee Rascal, which was the main downside, along with some dirty and ripped seats. The service was fine, the small clientele youngish.

Beer; all tap stuff - Banks's MILD was fine, there was also Theakston Bitter, but the Dark Smooth wasnt on.

Not really my kind of place - maybe 20 years back. The Four Crosses is far superior.
