Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Towers

One of the long-established Walsall Road roadhouses, but given the Sizzling pubs makeover and thus gives the impression of being a bit more modern than it really is. Partly opened-out to leave a range of seating and dining areas, but let down anonymous semi-modern furniture and decor throughout. Also has some patio tables and a smoking shelter to one side. All three handpumps appeared to have reversed clips when I entered, but the Doom Bar (£2.60) turned out to be on and the Greene King IPA was being readied.

An ok Sizzling pub on the main Walsall - Birmingham road. Its long and thin by the bar with two end areas, one no children. There are large windows overlooking the main road.

It needs a little bit of attention but other than that its a comfortable place, well decorated for a Sizzling pub.

Only one real ale on offer, the Pedigree was off. Mind you the EPA I tried was also off after tasting it. There is also Brew 11 and Banks' on keg. It appears the beer selection has gone downhill since Soup Dragon's review below. Shame

A large detached 1930s looking Sizzling chain pub in cream render and undressed brick, with William Bloye carving on the exterior (the Towers logo) and patio.

The interior of the pub is in an open plan U-shape around the bar and in typical Sizzling style has different areas and different levels. There is also a dedicated bar area, which has a dart board and TV. The decor is in dark red, green, cream and yellow, with a couple of fireplaces - there is a touch of the M&B sister company Ember Inns about the modern light shades and vases dotted about. The bar has a few cartoons on the walls as well. The place is mainly set out for food of course and i did eat here, the food being fine. The service was fine, the clientele mixed and as usual, these places do seem to be busy. The music was at a decent level.

Beer; tap stuff with M&B MILD and on handpull there was Spekky Hen and Harvestoun Bitter & Twisted. I just had a shandy.

Having not been convinced by the other Sizzling pubs in the locality, i wasn't expecting a lot from here, however, it turned out to have beer choice and a bar area, so despite the touch of the Ember's it was better than i expected and it clearly is popular with the locals.
