Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Three Cranes Hotel
Modernised hotel cocktail-type bar, completely at odds with the traditional-style inn / pub it was previously reported as having been. No real ale available these days, but my pint of keg Bradfield's Farmers Blonde (£4.50) was a first, even though the cask version would have been much more welcome.

After a period of closure and a hefty refurb, this is no longer the traditional pub with rooms that it had been for many years. Now a boutique hotel and cocktail bar, so none of the previous reviews are relevant.

My first visit for more than five years, and someone has evidently spent a bit of money making the interior look a lot smarter than it did. On the bar are two ciders and two beers from Kelham Island, Pale Rider and its Easy cousin. My visit was early on a midweek evening, when any post-work crowd would have dissipated, leaving just two other customers. Apparently it's busier at weekends, with Saturday nights drawing a crowd that I will have no need to make a mental note to avoid, involving as it does cross-dressing karaoke.
